so i talked to Brytne just a bit today but my mom wouldn't stop bugging me to stop using the phone (oo, i was on a whole 41 minutes) so i finally just said a hasty goodbye and got off the phone

grah, so that peeved me a bit

then i decided to play some jezzball to top my (apparently measly) 150k score. so i was playing, and was up to some 541,000+ score, using the l33t strategy you can see in my screenshot, when i decided i should take the screenshot, pause the game, and write a new entry.. well, when i went to click "file -> pause game" i accidentily clicked "file -> new game" so i have forever lost that game, high-scores-wise. luckily i got the screenshot, though it's little consolation :( woe is me.

now i'm gonna take 3mg of melatonin and try and sleep (if you've not noticed, i've been going to sleep later and later for weeks), since i have to get up in the morning and finish nerding my grandma's computer, fix the lawnmower, cut the grass, and then drive 4+ hours north to champaign.. great.

as the constipated black guy from tv would say, sometimes i just have to take a deep breath and remember it'll pass.

but on a lighter note, only one day (officially) til Brytne! :-D

i discovered a particularly catchy song on my hard drive from Brytne's mp3 backup directory called "blink 182 - magda", and after some research i found that blink 182 never sang a song called magda. so i looked up the lyrics to find that it's in actuality a song by the promise ring called "skips a beat" -- it's a sweet little weezer-esque song, so if you haven't heard it and want to smile, find it somewhere :)
