you know how to tell a guy's life is getting really boring? his trend of only updating his online diary late at night ends, and you get a mid-afternoon update. i suppose you could probably just answer that question with "he gets an online diary", but that's why i italicized 'really'...

so, i woke up today (i'm gonna say around 1-ish) to the feel of my house shaking. preliminary identification possibilities were train, earthquake, or someone shaking my bed. i looked around my room to find myself alone, slashing out the latter. no train has ever woken me up before, but i turned down my music to listen for a choo-choo or some other identifiable sound, and found none, making quick work of the former. so i hopped outta bed and exitted my room to the hallway, only find my father doing the same --

"is this an earthquake?"

"i hope so" he said

so then i was awake. i sat on my computer to check e-mail and find something to do, asked danny on aim if he felt the earthquake, but he didn't -- which is weird, because he's 40 miles away but maly from about 100 miles northwest said he felt it. weird. so we debated things to do today, and i googled "stuff +to do" bored and started reading this and one of the ideas was, appropriately, "have a movie marathon", but danny and i just did that with puppetmaster a few days ago.

another thing zutroy did was have a hamburger eating contest. however, his supplier was the high-cost mcdonald's, and our funds would probably only allow for white castle. problem is, the nearest white castle is near st louis (almost 3 hours for me, about 2 for danny) and he has some kind of gay senior trip meeting tonight at 8. so there goes that idea.

but i have a feeling i'm just gonna sit here all day, if i can manage to dodge any responsibility. maybe if i sit long enough someone will read my monster resume and give me an easy work-at-home (preferably sit-at-home job :)

so around 2 was reading z's diary and thinking about the fact that he always has a nice design, and mind was crappy default pink. it was not something i took pride in, given my uber-l33t webmastering history. so i sat and refreshed my memory on styles and divs and all the stuff that entered into the mainstream after i stopped webdesigning much, and an hour later i had this lil design. lemme know what you think of it in my guestbook, which also needs redesigning ;)
