Yesterday was my birthday! Friday Brytne suddenly showed up at my door bearing gifts (she lives a few hours away) to surprise me for my birthday. So sweet! I had been a little mopey and lonely, since my birthdays notoriously suck, but that made everything all better. She, Nate, and I got to hang out again, which is always the best. This weekend was mainly spent moving crap out of the old apartment, and into the new one across town. It's pretty sweet; no packetloss on the internet connection, all utilities/internet/phone/cable included in the 66% off rent bill. Summer sublets are the best..

Yousaf and I are 3 movies into our 100-movie rental block at Rentertainment ($100 for 100 rentals).

Watched so far:

- Moonlight Mile

+ Two Weeks Notice

+ Analyze That

The first movie was filled with strange, melodramatic dialogue. The plot was of little gravity. The next two were each surprisingly clever, both in script and improvisation, and several quips in each kept me giggling for upwards of a minute. Yousaf and I, like an early Siskel and Ebert, agreed on all these points - BUT DISSONANCE FOLLOWS!
